What is this?

WangGang is a new asian oriented restaurant that focuses on
high quality, nutritious menu items not typically found in your neighborhood
'asian carryout' quick service restaurants. Everything is prepared in our
clean exhibition kitchen. Come in (or call ahead for carry out), place
your order, get your cup, fill it up, grab your seat...you get the idea. We will
bring your order out, and take care of any needs you have; like a Geisha.
Well, almost anything. Beer, wine, and sake served.

Why does the food just start coming out?

The system: 1) Review menu. 2) Place your order for group. 3) We start to cook and bring it out immediately as it is done. 4) Share with your companions. 5) If you want to order more, just come back up, open a new ticket, and order away. Really, you should enjoy everyones food - that's what the little black plates are for.

Why haven't I heard of it before?

That's because it is a new concept. We aim to prove out our 'pilot' location, and add units when the time is right. Imagine you were 'in' on the ground floor of the Chipotle(r), Five Guys Burgers and Fries(r), or the Quizno's(r) concept. Easier to understand: right now we are like Michael Jordan in his college days.

What are the origins of your menu items?

We have incorporated what we think are the best tasting items from East Asian cuisine, such as Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, noodle based dishes, vegetarian dishes, and desserts that are decidely not East Asian. Our managing chef has many years of experience, blending great tastes (we hate the word fusion). We add no MSG.

What's your food philosophy?
It's simple smart business; serve great food that not only tastes good, but comes the way you want it! You won't find over-breaded, greasy food here. Plenty of greens, proteins, and sauces that taste great.
